Affettare a rondelle i porri,unire le patate pelate e tagliate a rondelle, metterle in una casseruola e rosolarle per 2 minuti nell'olio. Aggiungere il brodo caldo, il latte e un pizzico di sale; coprire e lasciare cuocere per 45 minuti a fuoco dolce. Versare la minestra in un frullatore, unire la panna e frullare il tutto, poi rimettere la crema sul fuoco e portare ad ebollizione.
Si può accompagnare la crema con dei crostini di pane ricoperti di formaggio e passati in forno per qualche minuto.
